Les Monts d’Olmes (1500m - 2115m) is a little-known gem in the department of Ariège in the French Pyrenees, considered by those in the know to be one of the most attractive ski stations in the region. It’s the closest resort to Toulouse with good annual snowfall due to its north-facing slopes, and offers exceptional value for skiing (especially when compared to the Alps). Nearby Les Monts d’Olmes is Montsegur (the famous Cathar mountain-top stronghold against the Catholic Crusades), the gorgeous market square of 13th century Mirepoix and the historical towns of Foix and Carcassonne. Down the valley lies the road to Andorra with its great skiing, tax-free shopping and fun mix of all things French and Spanish.

Our 72m² guest apartment is on two floors with three bedrooms and is set up especially for families and friends looking to enjoy this exceptionally family-friendly ski resort and this fascinating region of France. The outdoors life is wonderful here year round with skiing (both downhill and cross-country) and snowboarding in the winter then mountain biking, hiking, parcours, horse-riding, fishing, archery and paintball in the summer. And if the weather closes in we have satellite TV in the apartment, board games, cards and hundreds of DVDs to keep everyone entertained.
