Rates & Reservations

We rent the chalet for a minimum of one week at a time (usually starting on Saturdays). The rental price includes all sheets, towels, taxes and utilities. Please note we do not rent just for weekends. If you are interested in a long let then do get in touch as we can offer you a discount. We also offer a 5% ‘welcome back!’ discount to returning guests.

Reserving the chalet


How to book

To reserve a week please call Laura on +44 (0)7939 953 395 or email info@mont-dolmes.com to check availability. We require 25% of the rental price as a booking deposit and your week is reserved for you once we have received your signed booking form (see below to download the form) and booking deposit. You can pay us by bank transfer, cheque or credit / debit card via Paypal (see ‘payment options’ below). Please read through our booking conditions below before making the booking.


Six weeks before your arrival

The remaining 75% of the rental is required 6 weeks prior to your arrival at the chalet. Upon receipt of the money we will send you directions to the chalet and final information about your stay.


On the day of your arrival

We will meet you at the chalet to show you around and hand over the keys. As a security against damage we will ask you for a cheque for €500 / £425 which we will return to you at the end of the week as long as everything is in order.



Booking conditions


Please read these booking conditions  – they exist for your protection as well as ours.


  1. 1.  Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, arrival after 4pm and departure by 11am.

  2. 2.  We require a booking fee of 25% of the rental fee (100% if booking within 6 weeks before the start of your stay) before we confirm your reservation.

  3. 3.  The balance of the final invoice (the remaining 75% of the rent) is payable in full 6 weeks before your arrival date.

  4. 4.  The rental price includes linen (including towels), electricity, heating, water and local taxes.

  5. 5.  Guests are asked to leave the chalet as clean and tidy as possible on departure in order to ensure the same level of comfort and service to our next guests. Please put all rubbish in the local dustbins (20m from the chalet). If you have time please strip the dirty linen off your beds before leaving. Guests must leave by 11am to allow us enough time to clean the apartment before our next guests arrive.

  6. 6.  Chalet Flory is a non-smoking house. Please respect this by not smoking inside the chalet. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies but please stub out and dispose of your butts with care and do not throw them into the garden.

  7. 7.  No responsibility will be accepted by the owners for claims resulting from accidents or injuries to children or guests of any age in or near the chalet.

  8. 8.  No compensation will be paid where anything occurs beyond the control of the owners. You are strongly advised to arrange holiday and health insurance and bring a valid E111 health form (available from UK Post Offices).

  9. 9.  In the unlikely event that you are not happy with our chalet please contact us as soon as possible so we can deal with your complaint immediately. Guests are fully responsible for any damage and / or losses to the owners’ property and belongings, and undertake to inform the owners immediately of any such damage so repairs can be undertaken before the arrival of the next guests.

  10. 10.  If the names of the guests are different, or there are more guests than those declared on the booking form, we reserve the right to terminate the booking without refund. No assignment, subletting, or changes to the details on the booking form are allowed without the consent of the owners.

  11. 11.  If you wish to change the number of people coming and / or your booking dates, a new Booking Form must be completed and acknowledged before the new booking is valid.

  12. 12.  We rely on our guests to treat Chalet Flory and its contents with the respect and care they would show their own property.

Our cancellation policy

If you have to cancel more than 30 days before your rental commences then your deposit (ie 25% of the rental fee) will be forfeited unless we are able to let the chalet accommodation again. If you cancel less than 30 days but more than 15 days before your rental commences then we retain 50% of the total rental fee. If you cancel with less than 15 days before your rental begins then we retain the full amount.


Restrictions

Children and babies are very welcome at Chalet Flory but we do not allow pets or smoking.

Payment options


Cheque – please make cheques payable to ‘Jonathan Mearns’ and send them to Jonathan Mearns, MV Spica, Wicormarine, Cranleigh Road, Portchester, Hampshire PO16 9DR, United Kingdom.


Bank transfer –  if you wish to pay online then please send us the signed booking form and we’ll send you through our bank details.


Credit and debit cards – we are hoping to offer this service on our site very soon. In the meantime you can pay via Paypal at www.paypal.com. Pease note there is a 3.4% charge for processing credit and debit card payments.
