Air   The closest airport is Carcassonne which is served by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) from London Stansted with two flights a day.  This airport is 1 hour and 5 minutes from the chalet by car. Toulouse airport is served by Easyjet (www.easyjet.co.uk) and British Airways (www.ba.com) from London Gatwick with plenty of flights each day.  Toulouse airport is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the chalet. Both airports offer car hire from all the major companies (Hertz, Avis, Europcar etc)

Car   The journey from the London area to the house is around 800 miles (1300km) using any port in Northern France. You could also sail from Portsmouth and Plymouth to Santander or Bilbao on a 24 hour crossing, which gives a shorter drive to the house of around 250 miles (400km).

Train   To use the fast TGV routes to Toulouse or Perpignan you need to hub through Paris which can take some time.
